A Bit About Me
I'm currently a junior studying Interior Architecture in the School of Human Ecology (SoHE) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. I truly feel that through this program I have learned the substantial value and impact designing built environments has on the overall greater well-being of others, whether that's related to physical, mental, or emotional health. SoHE is a human-centered school that offers a unique and deeper approach to further thinking about how humans are impacted by all around us. This approach to design has taught me how to consider all aspects of the human experience related to design within our world through the built environments and spaces we create. The incredible ability to impact people, and create spaces that foster emotions such as comfortability, safety, and happiness, amongst many others, truly drives my passion for design.

My interest for design began when I was young. Interior design and architecture have interested and intrigued me for as long as I can remember. The excitement I have to design and help/contribute to others is fully encompassed through my pursuit of interior design. I am particularly interested in designing healthcare facilities, higher education spaces, recreation centers, and more.

I have experience in hand drawing, hand rendering and hand drafting, as well as model making. I feel that these physical applications of design and the learning/development process related to these skills has translated to a greater understanding of design factors such as scale, proportion, color, balance, perspective, etc. I also have experience in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe applications such as InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and rendering software including Enscape and Lumion.
